Two friends from Northern Ireland are hoping for success as they're set to feature on Ant & Dec's ITV gameshow Limitless Win.

Phil and Arainn, who are both from Holywood, will feature on the primetime entertainment quiz show this weekend. Fronted by double act Ant & Dec, ‘Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win’ returns for its fourth series.

After a life-changing £1 million win last series- the highest cash prize in Limitless Win history- the stakes are higher than ever before as new contestants prepare to take on the limitless ladder and climb their way to a fortune. Airing in six primetime hour-long shows on Saturdays and Sundays for three weeks, the groundbreaking format with a never-ending money ladder allows contestants to win the world’s first unlimited jackpot.

The pair were having a drink when the idea sprung to mind for 53-year-old Arainn.

He said: "We were sitting over a couple of pints in a bar somewhere and I remember looking on my phone and there was just something about the show that just grabbed me. We asked each other a couple of general knowledge questions and then we said, “why don’t we give this a go?!”

And when it comes to winnings, he has his sights set on a holiday with his friends.

"The one thing I’d love to do is have a bit of a lads’ holiday," he added.

"I’d like to put it to something I wouldn’t normally do; it might be a trip to Las Vegas or a trip to The Masters to see the golf."

Phil, who is a classroom assistant, said when it comes to making decisions, he thinks they'll be stubborn in their approach.

The 49-year-old added: "But we tend to think along the same lines. I don’t think there will be much disagreement because we’ll probably be coming up with a similar answer or one of us will know it and the other one won’t.

"[Winning] would set me and my son up for life and I’d be able to move into a bigger house."

Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win continues this Saturday 18th January, 8:30pm with the series finale Sunday 19th January, 8:00pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
