Tyson Fury will be wearing special custom designed shoes created by a Northern Irish man as he faces off against Oleksandr Usyk tonight.
George of King K Customs told Belfast Live that "he nearly fell out of his chair" when he received the request to create shoes for the Gypsy King and his team for the world title fight in Saudi Arabia tonight.
In the past few years George has gone from designing phone covers for his friends to creating one of a kind custom boxing shoes for one of the biggest names in the sport.
He has dedicated the world title fight shoes to his terminally ill father with dementia who was a huge Tyson Fury fan, saying on social media "We made it Dad".
George said: "I have only been making custom shoes for a few years now and it is crazy to think how far I have come in such a short period of time where I am making shoes for the biggest fighter in boxing at the biggest event in the world.
"When I got the request from Tyson and his team I nearly fell out of my chair, I really couldn't believe it, it is a dream come true.
"My dad, who is suffering very badly with dementia, has always been a massive Tyson Fury fan, and I am dedicating these shoes to him."
George had designed boxing shoes previously for fighters on the undercard of the first Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk fight, including Daniel Dubois.
Tyson Fury is set to face Oleksandr Usyk again in a hotly anticipated rematch, with the action unfolding on the Saturday, 21 December. The self-proclaimed 'Gypsy King' will seek payback against the Ukrainian behemoth, who's coming in as the defending champion of the WBO, WBC, and WBA heavyweight titles.
The colossal showdown, branded "Usyk v Fury 2: Reignited," will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – fans can get their orders in here in advance. In their first face-off in May, Usyk emerged victorious, becoming the first boxer to hold the undisputed world heavyweight championship since 1999.
