The PSNI has asked drivers to exercise caution on the roads on Thursday morning.
A yellow weather warning for ice is currently in place for most areas, and will remain in place until 10am.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Road users are advised to exercise caution due to icy roads throughout Northern Ireland. Stopping distances increase greatly when weather conditions are poor, so slow down and leave a bigger gap between your vehicle and the vehicle in front."

Winter scenes snapped as pre-Christmas chill sets in
It might not raise an eyebrow in Oslo or matter much in Moscow but when we get a skiff of snow here in Northern Ireland, we lose the run of ourselves.
Whether it's being unprepared for icy car windscreens, or haring off into the Mournes to experience the snowy peaks in a pair of gutties we always seem surprised that in winter – it gets cold.
But with a Yellow Weather Warning in place until Thursday evening, you don't have to venture out in the big chill as we've collated all the best pictures of the picturesque cold snap here.
