A new app has issued a call out for 100 engaged couples in Northern Ireland.
WEDPLNR is an app that will bring wedding planning in line with modern booking practices, incorporating dating app technology that allows engaged couples to search and connect with local wedding vendors, all with a simple swipe.
It's giving 100 couples the opportunity to be among the first to exclusively avail of the app, prior to the official launch in late December.

The couples will be asked to trial the app and supply feedback and in return they will be automatically entered into a draw for a £100 cash voucher.
A statement said: "Whatever the need or desire, it is now simply a click away - delivering instant results with minimal hassle. Now local entrepreneurs and Quirky Wedding co-founders Cate Conway and Saima Akram want the wedding industry to say ‘I do’ and get in on the action!"
Saima said: “The purpose of developing WEDPLNR was to address the seismic digital shift in our society. Life has become so chaotic for a lot of newly engaged couples that the more traditional methods of seeking out the right photographer or searching for that perfect venue can be quite restrictive.
“In recent years, Social Media has certainly helped provide unlimited ideas and inspiration for those in the throes of wedding planning, but finding the most appropriate vendor to bring those ideas to life is where the chaos can kick in!
“Couples want to peruse at their leisure and at their own convenience, which is what makes WEDPLNR so ideal. The app splits vendors into relevant categories and couples can swipe until they find their perfect match! If they like the look of someone or something in particular they can create a shortlist ensuring they can revisit their preferences at any time! WEDPLNR also allows couples to issue direct messages to vendors, helping to coordinate appointments and show rounds that suit both parties.”
Cate added: “Wedding vendors are dealing with ever increasing costs and are unable to commit to promotional initiatives that were once considered the norm. WEDPLNR actually opens these vendors up to a much broader audience and enables them to manage their interaction with prospective customers much more efficiently - an audience that isn’t limited by a time, a date, or a place.
“Similar to other social networking apps, WEDPLNR will be image and video-led, meaning that vendors can showcase their product and promote their business much more effectively.”
