Crews are working the scene at Jefferson Avenue, Bumby Street
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Fire Department’s hazmat team is investigating a “difficult to locate” gas leak on Monday evening, according to a news release.
Fire officials said they responded to the gas leak in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Bumby Street, although the leak has been difficult to find.
The fire department is working with TECO to locate and stop the leak, officials said.

According to the release, area traffic is affected and several homes were evacuated to ensure everyone remains safe.
