KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A 48-year-old Orlando man died after a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning on Florida’s Turnpike in Kissimmee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash involved a 2022 Lexus RX and occurred around 11:03 a.m. southbound at mile marker 247, troopers said.

According to a preliminary FHP crash report, the Orlando man was the Lexus’ driver. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, the report states.

FHP is still investigating.
