
IDAHO FALLS — Eastern Idaho continues to be well-represented in the boys basketball state media poll.
Preston (5A) and Rockland (1A) top their respective polls, but 10 other teams were ranked in the top-5 of their classifications.
Madison, at 19-1, held the No. 2 spot in 6A behind Owyhee, which received all nine first-place votes.
Hillcrest is still No. 2 behind Preston in 5A, while 4A features four District 5 and 6 teams behind No. 1 Bonners Ferry, with Snake River, Sugar-Salem, American Falls and Teton rounding out the rankings.
In 3A, West Side and Firth maintained their spots at No. 2 and No. 4, respectively.
Butte County is No. 3 in 2A, while Rockland held the No. 1 spot in 1A, but Watersprings actually had more first-place votes.
