SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – After six years in business, Poblanos Mexican Grill has closed its doors for good.

The restaurant, which sat at 1307 E. Altamonte Drive, announced its closure on social media Wednesday, although the post said its last full day in business was on Dec. 29.

“We are truly thankful and so fortunate to all of our customers who have supported our family business for over 6 years,” the Facebook post read. “Thank you to the community who embraced us so kindly and for the wonderful memories we have created here.”

The post cited an issue with lease negotiations as the reason for the closure but did not elaborate further.

The business went on to say that the owners hope to “continue to serve you and your family in the near future,” adding that future updates will be posted to its social media pages.

“It has been a pleasure serving every single customer! Thank you for all the support and community involvement. We love you all,” the post said.
