775 IDAHO FALLS — Animal lovers, space-enthusiasts and anyone looking for a good time are invited to join the Snake River Animal Shelter to celebrate its annual Fur Ball.
The event will be held Saturday at 5:30 p.m., the shelter announced in a news release. This year’s them is “Tails from Space.”
Get ready for a fun-filled night of dancing, delicious delights (culinary theme: Specialties from Planet Earth). Out-of-this-world entertainment will include live light saber performers and quality silent and live auction items. All proceeds benefit Snake River Animal Shelter.
“We hope you’ll join us and dance your tail off while helping raise money for the orphaned pets in our area,” organizers said in the release.
Snake River Animal Shelter rescues over 1,000 animals each year. The Fur Ball fundraiser helps keep the shelter’s doors open to help orphaned pets in need.
The Fur Ball will be held at the Blue Cross of Idaho Conference Center at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
Get your tickets soon — they sold out last year. An individual ticket is $100 and a table of eight is $750. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here. Participants have to be 21 years of age or older to attend.
