Single-vehicle crash kills Boise man

The following is a news release from the Idaho State Police.

NAMPA — Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision which occurred on Wednesday, December 6, at approximately 7:30 a.m., on Madison Road, just north of Linden Road, in Canyon County.

A 34-year-old male, of Boise, was traveling northbound on Madison Road in a 2000 Honda Accord. The Honda left the right shoulder of the roadway and crashed into a canal.

The driver died at the scene of the crash.

Traffic on Madison Road was blocked for approximately three hours, allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
