CAPE CANAVERAL SPACE FORCE STATION, Fla. – Another batch of Starlink satellites could go into space tonight in a SpaceX rocket launch.

SpaceX is targeting 11 p.m. for the liftoff of a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. If the launch doesn’t happen at 11 p.m., there’s a backup opportunity at 3 a.m. on Saturday, and an additional opportunity on Saturday at 11 p.m.

The rocket will carry 23 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit for SpaceX’s satellite internet service.

According to the forecast by the 45th Space Wing, there is a 30% chance that weather will affect the rocket’s launch at 11 p.m., which goes up to a 40% chance at 3 a.m.
