Tamzin Outhwaite has opened up about her partnership with Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin, following her split from Tom Child.
The EastEnders actress has taken part in this year's Strictly Christmas special alongside the 26-year-old dancer, who she says is full of "great energy".
"As soon as I walked in the room I could tell that his energy was a similar vibe to mine," the 54-year-old shared.
After meeting Nikita alongside her daughters Florence, 16, and Marnie, 12, they affectionately dubbed him Prince Charming.
"He just has the hair and face and the body and everything. He looks like Prince Charming," she told Sunday Express' Magazine.
When asked if she had any concerns about developing feelings for her dance partner, she responded with a laugh: "Of course I haven't. He's a 26 year old man with a wonderful girlfriend."
Tamzin competed for the festive Glitterball trophy alongside Josh Widdicombe, Tayce, Vogue Williams, Bill Monger and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey.
Viewers will find out who judges; Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke favoured the most when the show airs on Christmas Day.
Initially apprehensive about participating, the actress quickly fell in love with the experience and is glad she stepped out of her comfort zone.
However, unlike EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick, who won last year's Christmas special, she doesn't think she'll take part in the main show.
"I don't think my body would hold out. Maybe I should have done it when I was younger," she shared.
Following her split from Tom, her partner of six years, Tamzin has made a fresh start.
Expressing her contentment with single life, she shared: "Freedom fills up my cup, freedom to do as you please is a lovely thing. That makes me happy."
The actress was previously married to Lucifer star, and father of her two daughters, Tom Ellis from 2006 to 2014.
He remarried five years later, tying the knot with Meaghan Oppenheimer before they welcomed their first child together last year, a daughter named Dolly.
