The Dude Abides Kamala: Jeff Bridges Joins ‘White Dudes for Harris Fundraiser

Jeff Bridges, whose portrayal of slacker Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski in 1998’s The Big Lebowski spawned an annual festival and even a religion, emphatically endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign during a “White Dudes For Harris” Zoom fundraising call Monday night.

“I qualify, man. I’m white, I’m a dude, and I’m for Harris,” he said on the call.

After commending President Joe Biden for “passing the baton so beautifully,” Bridges said he was supporting Harris for a number of reasons.
