Wreck reported near County Road 470

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A crash has prompted the closure of Florida’s Turnpike in Lake County.

The wreck happened Thursday morning in the southbound lanes near County Road 470.

All southbound lanes are closed and traffic is backed up in the area. Drivers can take County Road 470 to U.S. 27 east as a detour.

Details about the crash have not yet been released.
