VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A shooting along Interstate 4 left two people injured on Wednesday evening, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said that the shooting was reported around 8:47 p.m. near mile marker 112 in the eastbound lanes of I-4.

Two people were treated for injuries, and both are conscious and alert, deputies added.

Eastbound traffic along I-4 is temporarily shut down while the investigation continues, according to detectives.
