Temperatures jump into the upper 70s on Christmas Day as scattered showers develop
ORLANDO, Fl. – Wednesday evening stays breezy under mostly cloudy skies and overnight low temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 50s in Orlando.
Wed LowsThursday, expect a chilly start with clouds around but clouds will gradually give way to sunshine through the late morning into the afternoon hours.
During the afternoon daytime highs will be near average climbing to 71°. Normal high in Orlando is 73°.
December 21st at 10:27 p.m. marks the first day of astronomical winter.
Thursday HighsFriday, a mix of sun and clouds are expected with no rain. Once again, daytime highs are expected to warm into the lower 70s.
The Christmas weekend outlook looks mostly dry for any last minute Christmas shopping.
Saturday will be dry under partly cloudy skies with highs climbing into the lower 70s.
On Sunday, there’s a 20% chance for a few isolated showers ahead of the next weather system.

When that front exits, cooler and drier air begins to move in by the end of the week. Cooler air is expected to stick around as we kick off the New Year.
