Two Israeli hostages held by Hamas militants in Gaza were released on Monday, a source in Israel confirmed to The Daily Beast.

The hostages are not yet in Israeli custody, the source said.

The pair were reportedly released in negotiations mediated by Qatar, according to Fox News, with CNN reporting that both hostages are women.
