K-pop boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) sold 1.58 million copies of its mini 7th album, “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY,” between Nov. 4 and 10, placing the group at the top of the weekly album chart, according to Hanteo Chart, Monday.

This figure surpasses the first-week sales of their previous mini album, “minisode 3: TOMORROW,” which sold 1.55 million copies, underscoring TXT’s continued popularity.

The latest release earned the "first-week million-seller" title by selling 1.21 million copies on its release day alone.

Including the new album, five of TXT’s albums have now sold over 1 million copies in their first week, including “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” (2022), “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” and “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL” (2023), and “minisode 3: TOMORROW” (2024), marking TXT’s achievement of five consecutive first-week million-sellers.

On domestic music charts, the title track, "Over the Moon," quickly gained popularity, debuting at 82nd place on Genie’s real-time chart on Nov. 4 and rising to 3rd place by early Nov. 10. It also climbed to 3rd place on Bugs’ real-time chart and has consistently remained within the rankings of Melon’s Top 100.

The album has also performed strongly in Japan. Within two days of its release, "The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY" sold over 277,000 copies, significantly surpassing the previous album's weekly sales of 174,000 copies.

The album ranked 1st on Japan’s Apple Music Top Albums and iTunes Top Albums charts, while “Over the Moon” secured the top spot on LINE Music’s daily song chart for three consecutive days from Nov. 7.

The music video for “Over the Moon” also remained at the top of YouTube Japan’s Trending Music chart for several days.

Meanwhile, TXT is operating a pop-up store in celebration of the album release. The "The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY" pop-up is open until Nov. 13 at Iconic Square on the second basement floor of The Hyundai Seoul.
