Warm weekend ahead before a cold front arrives in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fl. – Happy Saturday! Scattered clouds and above average temperatures are expected across Central Florida. Daytime highs will climb into the lower 80s over inland areas and upper 70s over inland spots. There is a 20-30% chance for isolated showers but most areas are expected to remain dry.

Tonight, expect overnight temperatures to remain mild falling into the upper 60s.

Sunday morning will be quiet with clouds around. Isolated showers are possible with highs in the lower 80s. The arrival time of a potent cold front looks to be around the evening hours. Scattered rain and a few thunderstorms are possible. There is enough energy for a few thunderstorms to become strong. The severe weather threat is low.

When that cold front moves out the area early Monday morning, cooler and drier air moves in putting daytime highs across the area in the 60s.

Expect breezy conditions all week with temperatures gradually warming into the lower 70s.
