ORLANDO, Fla. – “No turn on red” signs can be placed at any intersection if traffic engineering feels that a right turn on a red light would contribute to a crash or a major traffic slowdown.
So, when I received the question about a “no turn on red” sign posted close to the express lanes in downtown Orlando, I was extremely curious.
Today on Patrol, we will take a trip in the express lanes toward the downtown Orlando area and exit toward South Street.
We will take a look because I know signs can be a little interesting in that area and decipher how traffic should be maneuvering.
