Boris Johnson is watching the Lionesses as they battle to win their first European Championship at Wembley today.

The England team has kicked off against eight-time winners Germany in the Euro 2022 final in front of a record-breaking crowd of almost 90,000.

Fans are also watching all over the country to cheer on the Lionesses, who have produced a brilliant display in the tournament so far. 

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is watching the Euros final with his children Wilfred and Romy 

Among them is outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is watching the historic match with his family.

Mr Johnson posted a photo on Twitter holding his daughter Romy with his son Wilfred, two, standing next to him. 

He said in the Tweet: 'We are all gripped here watching the @Lionesses! Come on England!'

The Prime Minister joins people cheering on the Lionesses across the country, as well as the record crowd at Wembley.

Among them is Prince William watching from the stands, who sent the England squad a message of support earlier today along with daughter Princess Charlotte.

Fans are also watching all over the country to cheer on the Lionesses, who have produced a brilliant display in the tournament so far. Among them is outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is watching the historic match with his family

The Prince said: 'We both want to wish the lionesses the best of luck tonight, you've done amazingly well in the competition and we're rooting for you all the way!' 

Charlotte added: 'Good luck, I hope you win. Bye!'

 England men's captain Harry Kane posted a message of support for the Lionesses on social media.

The Tottenham Hotspur ace is also at Wembley today to see England face off against Germany.

Kane said in a video posted on Twitter: 'Hi Lionesses, I just wanted to wish you all the best for today's game against Germany.'
