Northern Ireland's police watchdog is appealing for witnesses to an incident in which a boy was allegedly kicked in the head by a PSNI officer.

The incident allegedly took place in the early hours of Sunday, December 8 outside Time nightclub in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.

It is understood no officers have been suspended as a result. Gavin Booth from Phoenix Law is representing the boy and has called for an "immediate suspension" and a criminal investigation.
