Woman arrested on suspicion of harassing Northern Ireland MP

A woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including harassment, following the search of a property in Co Down.

Belfast Live understands that this relates to an investingation into the alleged harassment of a Northern Irish MP.

It is understood that a number of electronic devices have been seized as part of the investigation.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "A woman in her 40s has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including harassment, following a search at a property in the Kylestone Road area of Bangor this afternoon, Wednesday 26th February.

"She remains in police custody at this time."
