Woman killed in Canyon County rollover crash

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.

Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision which occurred on Thursday at approximately 8 a.m., on Karcher Road just west of Ashland Drive, in Canyon County.

A 41-year-old female from Nampa was traveling eastbound on Karcher Road in a 1997 Toyota Tacoma when the vehicle went off the right shoulder of the roadway and rolled into a field. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt. She was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries

Traffic on Karcher Road was blocked for approximately two hours, allowing emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
