You have to see this! Artist uses footprints to create giant moose design in snow

A MASTERPIECE — A Canadian artist wowed the internet after sharing footage of him creating a massive design of a moose on a snow-covered lake, all with his feet.

Graphic artist Eric Goggin spent three hours creating the moose design by stomping on the snow covering Washademoak Lake in New Brunswick, Canada. He captured the process on his drone and shared the start to finish sped-up video on his Youtube channel on Feb. 3, 2025.

The two-minute video starts with Goggin walking onto the frozen lake and making a huge circle. He reportedly tied fishing line to a stake to guide him in creating the perfect circle.

Footage shows Goggin then inside the circle starting to design the moose. He creates a ground for the animal to stand on, then makes the animal’s legs, the rest of its body and antlers. As a finishing touch, he adds trees to the background.

“You can’t mistake a moose, and it’s such a Canadian symbol, representative of the great outdoors,” Goggin told CTV News about his design.

He said he used the drone’s monitor to guide him as he kicked the snow from the lake’s surface.

The drone shows the finished work of art from different views in the sky before ending on a shot of Goggin standing in the middle of his creation.

Viewers have praised his work saying, “Well done. I love it!” and “Beautiful!”
