Hyundai Engineering & Construction (E&C) will begin receiving orders for units in its Hillstate Deungchon Station apartment complex in Seoul’s Gangseo District this week, following the opening of model homes last Friday.
The apartment complex, comprised of 12 buildings with 59-square-meter and 84-square-meter units, is under construction near Deungchon Station on Seoul Metro Line 9. Its residents will start living there in October 2026.
According to Hyundai E&C, Hillstate Deungchon Station has been drawing attention from parents of school-age children, as the apartment complex is adjacent to the Mok-dong private academy district and Gangseo Public Library, as well as Seoul Deungchon Elementary School, Baekseok Middle School and Youngil High School.
Additionally, its community facilities will be equipped with an indoor playground and a library, in addition to a gym and golf simulator.
Hyundai E&C emphasized that the residents of Hillstate Deungchon Station will benefit from the district's forthcoming and ongoing reconstruction and redevelopment projects, which are expected to stimulate the local economy and increase the convenience of transportation options.
In particular, a subway station will open near Gangseo District Office neighboring the apartment complex, once the Daejang-Hongdae Line opens in 2030 to connect Daejang New Town of Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, with Seoul’s Hongdae area.
The construction of Magok MICE Complex has also been underway on an 82,724-square-meter plot of land in the district to accommodate offices, hotels, convention centers and cultural facilities.
“Hillstate Deungchon Station has drawn attention, as it is a rare new apartment complex in Deungchon-dong having high rates of old apartment complexes,” a Hyundai E&C official said. “The value of its neighborhood is expected to go up, thanks to the redevelopment of Gayang-dong and the construction of the Daejang-Hongdae Line.”
