Colombo — The 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination results will be released before the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year in 2026, Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Kumari Liyanage announced.
She stated that the final processes related to the release of results are currently nearing completion, assuring students that the long-awaited results will be issued soon.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner General noted that evaluation work for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination papers has already commenced. She further stated that the practical examinations for the O/L exam are scheduled to take place in the latter part of April, 2026.
Accordingly, steps will be taken to release the O/L results shortly after the completion of the practical examinations, she added.
