COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Channa Gunawardhana has been appointed the new chairman of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd and Litro Gas Terminals Lanka Ltd, effective Oct. 1, 2024.
Gunawardhana holds a first-class degree in accounting and financial management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is pursuing a Ph.D. at the Management and Science University of Malaysia. Additionally, he is recognized as a prominent lecturer for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in Sri Lanka.
His extensive experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Dankotuwa Porcelain, the Aitken Spence Group, and the Hirdaramani Group, alongside holding executive roles in several other companies.
