Le Sserafim to return with new album 'HOT' in March

K-pop girl group Le Sserafim is set to make a fiery return to the K-pop scene with its fifth mini-album, “HOT,” next month.

The group’s agency, Source Music, announced the upcoming release on Monday, sharing a teaser on the group’s YouTube channel. The new album "HOT" is slated for March 14.

The 30-second video shows ice melting in a burning fire, gradually turning into the group’s logo, ending with the phrase "I'M BURNING HOT.”

“The new album 'HOT' captures Le Sserafim’s passionate attitude of giving their all to what they love,” the agency said in a press release on Monday.

This album will be the group’s first work in seven months since its fourth mini-album, “CRAZY,” released in August 2024.

The group took global charts by storm with the previous album, landing at No. 7 on Billboard's main album chart, Billboard 200, making it Le Sserafim’s third consecutive album to enter the Top 10. The title track of the same name was ranked on Billboard's Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Chart for two consecutive weeks.

The five-piece act — Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha and Hong Eun-chae — debuted in 2022 with the mini-album “FEARLESS” and has since released a string of hits, including “ANTIFRAGILE” and “Perfect Night” in 2023.

The group recently bagged the Artist of the Year Main Prize at this year’s Hanteo Music Awards held last weekend.
