It seems blood isn’t thicker than water.
Melissa and Joe Gorga were photographed returning home from a beach trip on Sunday after skipping Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars – who decided not to attend the nuptials at the last minute – spent the weekend by the shore before heading home to Toms River, NJ.
The reality stars were dressed casually for their return home, with Melissa opting for a strapless, beige bikini top and a colorful sarong.
It appears they were joined by some friends and family on the getaway, with Melissa sharing a snap of some kids jet skiing to her Instagram.
Page Six exclusively revealed earlier this week that Joe and Melissa would not be on hand to support Teresa when she said “I do” to Ruelas at the Park Chateau Estate in East Brunswick, NJ, on Saturday.
“They were invited,” an insider told us, noting there was a “very tense ‘Housewives’ finale” filmed one week before the wedding.
The family escaped to the beach for the weekend.
Additionally, photos from the reception that have since surfaced on social media reveal that Joe and Melissa’s names were never removed from the seating chart.
It appears they would have sat at the same table as Teresa’s family, including her four daughters, had they decided to attend.

While delivering a speech later in the night, per another video making its rounds on social media, the bride seemingly threw some shade at her brother and sister-in-law for being no show’s when she shouted out her “chosen family.”
Bravo fans first began to question whether the Gorgas would attend the nuptials when the “Turning the Tables” author announced in March that Melissa would not be one of her bridesmaids.

Although Melissa said on her podcast that she was “fine” with her sister-in-law’s decision, she questioned if “her new sister-in-laws” would be part of the bridal party.
“Is it like a no-fam wedding other than the four daughters, her four beautiful daughters, and a couple of her friends?” Melissa asked. “If that’s the case, then I think that makes perfect sense.”

Teresa was joined by co-stars Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin, as well as daughters Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13, as bridesmaids on her big day.
She walked down the aisle in a Mark Zunino gown, a crystal tiara by Bridal Styles Couture and an embroidered Bridal Reflection veil which matched the tattoo she got in honor of her late mother, Antonia Gorga.
